It seems to have died down a bit, but for awhile the Velominati's rules was the hot thing in cycling. The long, somewhat over bearing list of items that tells the road cyclist how to dress, ride and act when on a bicycle, has hopefully seen its time pass. I've always wondered if this list was some kind of epic troll; an attempt to separate the posers from the real deal. The most famous of these rules is-of course-rule number five. The V, as it is called, tells the adherent to "harden up".
